Can't find Springfield XD 40 high cap mags

Hi all.

I have a Springfield XD in .40 s&w and I'm looking for some high capacity magazines.

But all of the online stores I've looked at only have 12 and 16 round magazines.

Is there anywhere that I can get some magazines for my XD 40 that would be 20-30 rounds?

Nope, but you can get some after market base pads that increase capacity by 3 rds.

Other brands may extend capacity further.

i had one mag that was an aftermarket 20rd mag that i was given. i don'y use things like that, but i tried it and it was unreliable.

The 12rd mag is your only choice, as the 16rd you found fits the XDm only.

I would not suggest using any aftermarket mags to gain capacity unless they can go thru many, many uses without failure. Stay away from Pro-Mag.

13rds of 40S&W will get the job done, if you do your part.

If you want more capacity, trade up to the XDm40.

If they dont have some kind of stop when you insert them in the gun the feedlips contact the ejector. If you get rough putting mags in the ejector can break. Mark
