Does anyone here have any personnel experience with the Charter Arms Patriot? I have recently got the urge to play with the 327 federal and don't want to spend to much till I know I'm gonna stick with it. I've went this route before and it worked out fine and I still own my cheaper gun, as well as, my more main stream replacement. However, those rounds didn't produce the pressure of 327. Once again, I want personnel experience not regurgitated brand hate. Thanks in advance.

Did they start production again on the .327? Last I checked they hadn't made em in over 5 years, and the used market is few and far between. That being said, I have one in .327 and I like it.

Mines on the bottom there. I put a Wolff reduced power hammer spring in it and switched the grips gor Pachmayr's. I like it a lot. The .327 is a cheap and fun round to reload and tinker with.

It the power and economy of reloading that got me interested. All my personal dealings with Charter has been with much lower pressure rounds. Even with those you had to be careful not to shoot a lot at max or the gun would loosen up. With the pressure of 327 I just wanted to know if that magnified that issue.
