I'm in a bit of pickle. I'm starting a local club league, run n' gun type, next week with my new 4.2" Redhawk 44. I need a holster that covers the trigger guard, OWB type, strong side (right handed for me), and I need it to be about $50 (which pretty much rules out anything leather).
My intention is to buy a holster from Diamond D Leather, but they don't stock any holster other than their shoulder holster, so it's a 10 week wait time for a hip holster; the league will be over by then. I've looked at Triple K, Galco, Simply Rugged, etc, and I just don't see anything there I would want to own. (That's not a dig on those companies' products; they just don't suit me.) As such, I don't feel like paying those prices (not that those aren't fair prices) for something I don't even want.
I'm slowly working through the list of holster makers posted elsewhere in this sub-forum, but if anyone knows of perhaps a nylon or other entry level type holster, I'd appreciate the info.
Thanks
