Basicly I'm looking at some thing to go on my sks. I would prefer it had a green dot over red but I don't know if those can be found for cheap. I also want the dot to be very small (less than 4moa). The current one I have isn't to bad (its on my mp5k airsoft gun) but the red dot is a bit large for my preferance (it is eather a 4 or 5 moa).

If these options are not available in a cheap red dot then just point to some thing with a nice 4 moa that is cheap.

Also if any one knows of a cheap LER(long eye relief) scope with mildots please point it out.

Thanks in advance.

My hunting partner, Mike, and I were both shooting our .44 magnum revolvers (my Taurus, his S & W). His was topped with a cheap red-dot (BSA I think), mine with a relatively pricey Tasco ProPoint red-dot. After a handful of warm (not hot by any stretch) rounds, Mike's red-dot literally went to pieces. The top mounted windage adjustment knob and a bunch of wires went flying, looking like a high-speed Slinky as they bounced up and down while dangling from what was left of the scope. The eyepiece flew over his head and disappeared into the grass behind us.

I was instantly glad I spent the extra bucks for a decent scope.

I have cheap red-dots on my .22's. For anything with a little more recoil, do your homework and buy a good one. Even then, good red-dots are generally cheaper than regular scopes.

Humm the one that was linked over to ebay seems to be a good one. The one linked to with multi reticals would be very nice too. The one I curently have mounted to my airsoft gun is a Ultra Dot Dist so I have no idea of the quality.

i have a bushnell trophy with the 4 recticles and my pops has a tasco pro dot. the biggest difference i have found between ours (90-100 bucks) and some of the cheaper ones (which trust me i tried to get away with) is dot brightness. even on the brightest settings i couldnt see the 30 dollar sights dots. maybe i have bad eyes, but it was a couple different ones so i dont think its the batteries. i agree though for 22's or pellet guns, dont go nuts if you dont have the funds, but i swear by mine and it was worth the extra 60 bucks

Cool I think I will look into get the same one you have. Any idea where the cheapest place to by them is? Also any chance some one could get some real life pics of the reticals?
