Colt Detective Special

Hi, Got a Detective Special II SS 2" barrel. Need a IWB or a paddle type holster for CCW. Don't like just dropping it in the pocket. Willing to pay for custom holster .Needs some custom wood grips also. Ideas or offers !!!!!! ...WVleo

I can recommend this maker. My DS and DS-II both fit his IWB model, which is technically sized for the Ruger SP101. The frames are close enough that this works, at least with Andrew's design. Of course, the holster is molded for a 5-shooter so the molds for the cylinder flutes don't match those of the DS. But this matters not.

A downside of the DS-II is that the barrel is almost sharp on the end. It does scrap the holster going in. Maybe in 5000 uses the holster will wear out. I won't ever find out, if it takes that many.

Try the Mernickle PS-2 for leather and Badger Boot Grips for the grips.

have this setup for my Cobra and love it. Sure grip that points level and lines up the sights square. Mernickle holster fast and secure.

Colt DS II Grips

Hi, Yes Ric cool grips . Would anyone have a pair of Eagle Secret Service or Badger grips on a Colt DS II the SFVI model ? Shot the colt today and really enjoyed it . Quick to target with it's 2" barrel. Need a slip-on spring or paddle type holster for CCW also.................WVleo

Nice DS. I have one on the way!!! I was told by the dealer that it looks perfect. I saw pics of it, and it looks absolutely exquisite. I cannot wait to get it. Should be in at my dealer on Monday. I will post pics.
