Guitar player, video game fanatic, cooking, GUNS, used to ride a motorcycle (just not practical for me) Been doing martial arts for about 15 years. Amateur bladesmithing. I have tons more hobbies but these are the only ones I keep coming back to.

"What about working dogs?

Martial arts?

Making music?

Baking, cooking?

Beer?"

Hum, now we're getting a lot closer.

I have two dogs (one named Ruger). Technically they're both working dogs, but they think they're on disability. They just lay around the house drinking all day long... :)

Martial arts? No.

Making music? Not for a long time. Used to play several instruments.

Baking/cooking? You bet. I make all of my own bread, and am a very good cook.

Beer? No, not really.

How about...

Reading/Book collecting?

Home improvement?

Live Theatre anyone ?

Hey, if you had the young cute instructor I had in the cast of "Pajama Tops" you would have gone too. :D

"Swiss Family Robinson" at the Children's Theatre , at least they used prop guns practiced 4 rules, went bang with smoke and all. Took the nephew $10 for the both of us.More entertaining and better gun safety than a Hollweird flick.

Art Galleries, Museums?

Okay, let's see.....

Pilot...no

Ham radio...no

motorcycles...no

--- However ---

Woodworking...yes
Model railroads...yes
Computer stuff...yes (unfortunately.... )
Camera / photography hack...yes
Firearms....duh, why would I be on this site? :D

Cooking?? grunt grunt...cook hunk of meat over fire! Like everything, I'd be better if I practiced more.

Another biker here. Used to be a M/cycle courier in Central London (when I was young and foolish).

Computer Geek (still pays the bills)

Good enough cook to have people come back for more. And I bake my own bread too.

But my big thing is Fiber Arts. I spin my own yarn, design and knit all sorts of stuff. I've just started to get into dyeing yarn and am giving serious consideration to learning to weave.

My current major project is knitting hats, scarves, mittens, etc. for a local Homeless Vets shelter -- I've enlisted a few friends so we'll have a big pile of nice warm stuff to give them around Veterans' Day.

and to keep it gun-related, I've always used gun oil to lubricate my spinning wheel -- good machinery deserves good oil!

I'm a computer geek and musician, I don't know if music would qualify as a hobby anymore though since it always feels like it's work and for the time I spend playing I get paid more than I do at my regular job.

I'd love to get my pilots license but my wife is scared of small planes, whenever we're on a plane she tries to sleep or read, I've got my face glued to the window looking down at the ground for the whole trip.

Private pilot (although I don't seem to be able to both fly alot and shoot alot...must be something about a limited bucket of time and money)
Shooting
Hunting
3-gun and Cowboy Action competition
Cooking
Military history
Camping

I'm a pilot. (Jet, multi-engine, float, ski, & instrument ratings).

I keep WORKING CB' radios in ALL my vehicles, I own a portable, and there's a base station @ home...

I own and ride motorcycles both on and off road,

I am an active Off Roader (Jeep CJ and Dodge Ram 4x4's)

I am restoring my own musclecar.

AND I play around W/ old vehicles all the time...

I am a draftsman by trade...

i'm a pilot. i'm up to a whole whopping 59 hours now.

not a HAM radio operator.
snowboarder
R/C plane builder/flyer
golfer (build my own clubs too)
and of course, a shooter.

given the choice of all of the above, flying is numero uno. its the reason i don't own more guns. airplane rental is expe$ive! but worth it.

here's a link to a thread i started on a flying/pilot's website. pilots seem to be mostly pro-gun. http://www.ipilot.com/forum/topic.aspx?fid=860

Let's see... military history is certainly one.

Kenjitsu is another, although I haven't had any formal instruction in years. My friend and I keep each other sharp (and bruised).

Not to mention my service in the Massachusetts volunteer militia. But I only get to do that once a month. :)

Then there'd be politics, scotch, politics, bourbon, politics... wait a second.

Not a pilot, but I've been through ground school. Seems like a shortage of funds in my case, too.

Did the warbird thing for about ten years, flying as a crew member in WWII airplanes to airshows around the country.

Amateur Radio Operator WB7VHR, for more than a quarter century. Extra Class.

High Power Sport Rocketry. (See my handle.) The BATFE is beating this hobby to death, however.

Like to shoot my Garand and M1 Carbine, but don't get to often enough.

Storm Chaser

Computer geek.

Is there such a thing as having too many hobbies?

camping, hunting, mountain biking, collecting knives, computers, photography, 4wheeling, reading, cooking, tinkering.

Pilot... No
Ham Radio... No
Motorcycle... Sold my Honda CX500 Custom 20 years ago after 26,000 miles. Wife heaved a sigh of relief.

Here's a weird one. I collect and restore old John Deere farm tractors, have 4 of them.

Gardening, canning - wife is the cook.

Fixing up our 1933 farmhouse.

-Boating, (and boat building)
-Blacksmithing
-Weaving
-Knitting
-Cooking
-Website CMS system design
-Programming (that's what I do for a job anywho).
-Motorcycled for over 20 years, just sold my last one cause of too many other hobbies..not enough riding time.
-Sword/knifesmithing
-Armorsmithing
-Woodworking
-Winemaking
-Videography
-Coffee Roasting (fresh roasted coffee is never more than 7days old)

There's more, that's just the things I can think of at the moment......
:what:

edit: Reloading (how could I forget that? Oh yeah, Walmart 100packs ;-)

Private pilot here. Strictly recreational. ASEL with hiperf, tailwheel, aerobatics. Flew Citabria & Super Decathlon regularly when I lived in the bay area. Nothing available here. Miss it tremendously. :(

Reformed motorcyclist. Couldn't shake the feeling I'd get hurt someday, and gave it up.

Photography (of guns),
computer games (with guns),
action figures (with guns),
enough hours and experience to solo but never got my pirate's license (you can mount a gun on a plane),
ham operator--tech plus class for tactical comms....

I'm a computer guy, love the video games.
Over the last few years, my home has slowly turned into a ferret rescue as well. Between my family, school and the ferrets, I just try to whatever I can to have fun :)

Motorcycling - took the ABATE class a year or so ago, presently in the market for a first bike.
Ham radio - No, although my Dad is a ham so I picked up a little bit about it.
Flying - I promised myself that as soon as I got my first motorcycle, I'd concentrate

Aside from shooting, I'm into audio engineering (mobile DJ and front-of-house), knifemaking, gunmaking, amateur machining, and, recently, adventure racing. I also read a lot and write a little.
