Crime way up in NJ cities - Lack of gun control cited as primary cause

XD - your links are meaningless.

From your wikipedia link:
Products include guns, ammunition, missiles, military aircraft, military vehicles, ships, electronic Systems, and more. The arms industry also conducts significant research and development

So, your 1 trillion dollars includes F-22 raptors, ICBMs, and research into thixotropic armor.

Arms are not "big business". IBM is big business. Ford is big business. AOL is big business. Most people don't have a clue who Ruger is.

The one below gives statistics on gun sales throughout the world.
www.fas.org

I can do that too. Here's a link that debunks everything that you'll ever say:
www.google.com

Can you be more specific?

You're playing the anti game. Throw pseudo-facts out there and count on nobody doing the homework.

As related to Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), after the violence peaked in the 90's, we saw a gradual reduction in violence as a causitive factor.

--Cough, cough--
So, more spinal injuries caused by violence = more violent crime = more gun violence?

More spinal injuries with violence as a causative factor equals only one thing: more spinal injuries with violence as a causative factor. Period, end of story. You can't draw any parallels there.

You also didn't link to your source, either.

In conclusion, I'd like to say without proof, link, or citation, that I am the greatest human being ever, and you'll all get eternal happiness if each of you sends me $1000.00 USD.

Only in some places.
Judges in Virginia are appointed, not elected.

If the problem is strictly guns, how come Florida (and Virginia for that mater) do not have these crime problems.
Washington, DC is right across the river from that horrible source of guns Virginia!

Of course it is a Federal felony to cross the river and purchase a gun, and then to transport it back into that gun free City.

Time to actually enforce the laws.

As a Virginia CWP holder I can buy as many guns as I want with no waiting periods.
Transferring them to anyone from out of state is NOT in the cards.
Was the Florida Bail Bond guy prosecuted?

And from the Star-Ledger article on pg.2 we see the horrible fate the straw purchasers received, sure to send potential straw purchasers changing their ways...

Because they cooperated, both received light sentences: a day behind bars, and probation -- Wilson got two years, Prioleau three. Prioleau was ordered to serve five months of it in home detention.

With enforcement like this, it's clear the feds have no intention of shutting down the supply chain. Far more expedient to let it run unabated so the burning platform for more gun laws remains ablaze.
