I bought a rock island 1911 with crimson trace grips on it. The first time I shot it I got them sighted in, put it down, and when I picked it up to shoot it again it was 8 inches right. I sent them in and got them back 2 weeks ago. Now I unholstered the gun and put it on my nightstand and when I woke up the laser would not come on. I thought maybee I sat it on the switch and ran the batterys out so I bought new ones and still nothing. So now they are on there way to crimson trace again. My question is how reliable are they for everyday carry? My gun does get bumped around a little bit. Could I be causing these problems?
P.S. Crimson traces costumer service has been very nice and helpful. That helps keep me calm when my $300 grips are always broke.
