Howdy!

About a year or so ago I did a deal trading a Taurus 85 for a CZ 2075 RAMI. The Taurus was in .38 Spcl. and the RAMI is in .40 S&W...So More Fire Power!

Being a member over at www.CZForum.com and a Mod at www.CZShooters.com I was completely aware that there had been reported problems with the .40 RAMI, but being an eternal optimist I figured that my used RAMI would be just fine. Wrong assumption!

The durn thing had a bunch of problems from failure to feed, to failure to eject, to failure to go into battery. I liked the size, I liked the ergonomics (I mean it's based on the CZ 75 who could ask for a better starting point?). I just hated the fact that it was just downright undependable. Of the 14 or so CZ's I own, this was the first that just didn't work right.

So I just left the little guy in the safe figuring someday I'd find a gun smith that could fix it. I didn't even think about a factory trip for it since I'm at least the second owner.

At the SHOT show in February I visited with one of the CZ factory gunsmiths who told me to send it in and they'd fix it. I asked how much and he told me "We back our pistols and if they don't work right it's our job to satisify our customers and get them running the way they were designed to!"

So I finally got around to sending it in. I got it back last week and took it to the range yesterday! WOW!! It's everything I wanted it to be and more! No failures in over 100 rounds! CZ replaced the mags, the sear, did a ramp job and did some magic to the trigger. I was so impressed that I decided to "officially" add it to my CCW permit.

In the 30 rounds of qualifications not one shot lower than the 8 ring with most in 9 or 10! Here's a pic of my little champ with custom grips by Hakan Pek and custom laser engraving.

Thank you CZ-USA!

Thanks for posting. My buddy is looking hard at CZ 75 for his first handgun. I'll direct him to the websites you've listed above and relate your experience to him. Know he'll be encourage to proceed.
