Has anyone else noticed any delays in ordering from Midway lately? I have been noticing that they still send a confirmation email immediately, and list the item as "shipped" but it has been on average 36 hours for my last three orders before they actually leave their facility.

They still do a good job, but they are starting to not be able to deliver in the same week when orders are placed on Sunday.

Just a little one - when I call and place an order, it's taking nearly TEN minutes before I can drive over and get it - SHEEEESH - if I had to pay shipping instead of driving those two miles..... well, I tell'ya I'd think TWICE about it ! ! !

:cuss:

i noticed there is a slight delay between when i see the price and when my cursor makes it to the x at the top of the screen, lol

Well I placed an order at 4pm PST today and Larry Potterfield was kind enough to immediately send me an emaiil saying he received my order, but as of 8pm I didn't get an email yet saying it has shipped! What the heck, the brown truck is supposed to be waiting in their parking lot???

I just got an order in that I place last Tuesday. I did it Tuesday night, it shipped Wednesday and I got it this afternoon. The only difference that I noticed was that USPS was about a day or two behind UPS.

I order from Midway and MidSouth but I' going to try and see if I can order my items from a local gunstore because the shipping from Midway and MidSouth is just to costly. Ups rates are out of sight.

I order from Midway all the time and have always been impressed with the speed in which they process and ship. I ordered some grips on Saturday and I this morning (Monday) I got the confirmation letting me know that the items were shipped.

Love Midway but they seem to not be able to keep what I want in stock lately. I save everything in my cart and check back in when they say out of stock items will be back in stock. Turns out they got thoseitems in stock but several other items are now out of stock. Uhg. It's vaguely important to me to get everything in one shipment. I gave up and went to Natchez for this one order.

Lexjj, I know for a fact one of the delays was due to the weather. No big deal, they still have great prices and once they ship it is fast but they last three orders they have not shipped withing 36 hours of the order.

But, they are still my favorite place to do business.

Yep, there's a run on certain items lately... AR stuff, I know, waited 2 mo for magpul handguards (rifle), but worth it... usually I can't find it anywhere else in stock either, whatever I'm lookin for. If I can, search is over, price depending of course :)

I just ordered some extensions for G26 mags from Midway and received them within 3 days. My problem is with Bud's. Ridiculous shipping charges and weeks to receive items that are listed in stock.

Placed an order with Midway on Sunday, and UPS says they picked it up at 1AM this morning (Tuesday).

Shipping does seem to have become more expensive recently, but that's to be expected with the spike in oil prices.

I know what you're talking about mcdonl.
Used to, I'd place an order and immediately get a confirmation email, and generally I'd get another the same day saying it had shipped. I still get the confirmation immediately, but it's been a day or two before getting the one saying it's been shipped. I'll still do business there, because their shipping is still pretty fast, but I have noticed a difference lately.

I used to buy my bullets from Midway. I could order on Monday morning and my order would get to me on that Wednesday. Likewise, I could place an order for something on Wednesday and get it by Friday. That was just the way it worked out for me where I am.

Lately, it seems that an order placed on Monday won't make it to me until Friday and if the order is placed on Tuesday or Wednesday, odds are that I won't get it until the next Monday. It's not bad, but not as fast as it used to be.

Lately, if I need something fast, I'll either order it from MidSouth or take the hour drive to Cabelas. If waiting is no big deal, I'll just order what I need from Powder Valley and take adavantage of the prices.

According to their website my order submitted yesterday at 6pm was shipped at 9:51pm.
I'm sure it actually didn't go out then but the tracking # was produced and it'll hopefully go on the brown truck today.

Mid-Missouri is dealing with a lot of snow right now and that does have an effect. Other than that I haven't heard anything about problems with Midway shipping. Generally everything ordered from Midway gets pulled the same day unless you shoot in your order too close to the end of the work day, then your order gets sent to the shipping line to be pulled the next morning.

I just started ordering stuff with Midway and so far my only complaint is how much stuff is back ordered. I tried to order a DPMS sportical upper but it kept getting pushed back. Granted that is an issue with DPMS and not Midway. I did order a different DPMS upper last Thursday and according to UPS it will be here today and my order from Saturday should be here tomorrow.

Ordered parts for a loader last Friday afternoon. They were just delivered by the USPS about 10am this Tuesday. Don't know how it could have been any faster.

I've ordered some bullets recently, and have been as impressed with Midway's shipping speed as I ever was.

(wish they had more MagTech bullets in stock for .357, however)
