Did you ever sell a gun then kick yourself

I sold a S&W 22A and a Mini-14, both of which I do not miss in the least. The 22A was just
not a very endearing pistol, and the Mini-14 didn't stand up well next to the AR15.

If I sold one of my AR15's or lever rifles I would miss it for a long long time.

I have a Marlin 60 that I don't think I wouldn't really miss. I have a boring old 10/22 which I don't think I would sell, since my daughter used it when she was eight.

A few years ago I sold a Ferlach Constant Companion SxS 16 gauge boxlock ejector shotgun. Beautiful engraving and checkering with English style stock. A high grade Austrian made shotgun. What a mistake.

Own one shotgun, a Zabala 20 sxs. Have only ever owned this shotgun, and don't intend to sell it.

Regret selling one pistol, a S&W Model 10-4. But it's not irreplaceable.

Yep, had an LC smith Ideal grade i bought from a guy who found it in a attic. it was pitted up on one side from bird poop. it was mechanically perfect tight as a mouses ear. shot and swept like a dream and perfect bores. bought for 150 bucks and let go for 175. it would have made a perfect mate for my xbx flues ithaca...so sad

Yes, but I got the last laugh.

I talked my father into buying me a new Fox Model B 12 ga., full and mod, back when I was real skinny youngster. It kicked the everloving heck out of me and my 200+ pound dad too, so I got my uncle to sell it to a guy at work. I kicked myself for a few weeks because I'd really wanted to like it and it was my first SxS and first 12 ga.

Then I found out that the buyer got his face a little too close to his thumb ON THE SECOND SHOT and broke his nose. Good riddance.

I'm sure not missing my sks. Why do people like them so much? Short range, and pretty heavy too.

No, though my experience is very limited. Had a Winchester 61 pump .22 that loved to double feed that I brought back to GM in a trade for A T/C Classic .22, which I can't hit anything with (and just broke a magazine today!).

Shotguns, never. They are just too classy. Then again my personal philosophy is to have a small collection of guns that I really like, rather than buying anything that catches my eye and horse-trading.

Many, many times. I was usually able to track the gun down and buy it back, or at least purchase a near identical replacement. I'm now out of the selling game -- unless I'm selling something redundant in the collection.
