I re found 500 of these whicj I bought from midwayu sa.com in 2018. I am doing Google searches and can't find reviews of soft points just hollow point projectiles.

Could these soft points be used successfully for deer say out to 200 yards?

How well does a soft point feed in an ar15?

they fed fine in my AR. also, they were pretty accurate. I don't know about killing power though. I've always thought the 223 was a little anemic for anything bigger than a medium sized dog.

Soft points will feed fine in an AR, the trouble is the bullets are varmint bullets, meant to disintegrate, dang near explode, on a tiny little prairie dog. They don’t have the proper penetration for a deer, even though a .223 is powerful enough.
Other soft points are more resilient. Anything that references dog town, grenade, varmints or thin jacket is not tough enough to stay together for a deer.

A Hornady 75bthp is a well received deer bullet. The 60 grain soft point is as well.

(As an aside, I have a 55 grain sxsp load that self-destructs at fifty yards from too thin a jacket at too high a speed. It would horrifically flesh wound a deer, but not kill it. Not good for that purpose.)

Yes. If I remember correctly MidSouth Shooters Supply has them as a bulk quantity of a non-disclosed name brand bullet. (Sierra I thought…)
Actually, they were manufactured by Nosler for Midway. Nosler also sold them in Australia as their S.H.O.T.S. line, a flat base lead tipped spitzer cup and core bullet. I don’t know if they are still being manufactured by Nosler or not.
