Draco AK Question

I am interested in making a Draco SBR, but I live in the grand state of CT. Guns that have parts interchangeable with an AK are illegal here, but a Draco has parts that aren't changeable but it is in 7.62X39. Also, AK-74's are legal here. So my question is can I buy a Draco AK in CT? Also, are there any Dracos chambered in calibers other than .223, like 5.45 or 5.56? Thanks in advance!!

the only dracos I've ever seen are 7.62x39. I dont understand what kind of law would ban a gun chambered in one caliber while allowing that exact same design in a different caliber(AK47 vs AK74)

EDIT: I really dont understand why would they outlaw the rifle version but the exact same design is allowed with a shortened barrel and butt stock removed.

Since you already live in Connecticut, why not pick up a phone and call a local shop and ask them ? But,my guess is, "....not available for sale in CN,CA,NJ,NY,IL,MA,..."

There are too many contradictions with CN gun laws. Not likely. Best place to ask is local or state department of law enforcement and aks for specific statutes that allow or ban the specific gun you want. If it's allowed, request an official certified copy of the statute/s that allow it and make copies. You're talking about an SBR so you're gonna need extra taxed permits regardless.
