"Drop in" Adjustable rear sight for Kimber?

I have a Stainless Classic series 1 w/ fixed sights that I would like to change to adjustable. Does someone make a quality adjustable rear sight that slides right in Kimber's dovetail, without machining the slide, or drilling and tapping? Please say yes, I dont want to send it to a 'smith! Thanks-

Thanks, but that replaces Kimbers Adjustable sights. Im looking for an aftermarket sight that will replace a fixed sight, without needing milling.

An adjustable rear sight would be better, IMO.
I don't think there's any adjustable rear sight that would fit w/o machining. Although its original cut is very close to Bomar, it would still need a few more cuts. Sorry.

I didn't know of one, either, but recently learned that MMC makes an adjustable sight to replace a Kimber fixed.

I have a Kimber officers model that shot low and left. I replaced the stock fixed sights with MMC adjustable sights for Kimber. It shoots point of aim now and I really like the sights.

I had a positive experience with the company.

I think MMC is your best bet. They are known to be durable. I don't know about the Novak's.

Adjustable Sights

Meggar makes a very nice adjustable sight that will fit the "normal" .65 dovetail on the slides of 1911s.

This sight is very similar to the adjustable sight used on Browning High powers.

The price is very reasonable and usually will allow the use of existing front sights.

CDNN has them from time to time at really good prices.

Kimbers aren't "normal."
A .65" dovetail isn't "normal."

MMC rear sights aren't truly "adjustable" either, in the sense that you drift the sight for windage. (Well, that's for Glocks; could be that's not the case for Kimbers.) The one that I tried had a very coarse elevation adjustment...far too coarse for my tastes.
