Carrying reloads for a revolver is a PITA, speed strips get lost in your pocket, speed loaders are bulky in your pocket and uncomfortable on your belt.
Here's a way to carry a pair of speed strips securely, easily and handily.
Remora make pouches for autoloader magazines, little did they know that they work for speed strips too. Stays in place, easy to access and comfortable.
Now you can be ready for those 7 or more assailants.

I like the Tuff Products speed strips and speed strip pouches. They're designed for belt carry, but quite low profile, and easy to get on and off.

I generally get a pair of speedloader pouches/holsters with a revolver holster but I agree, it's a pain and thanx for the tip.

Great idea! The other problem I use to have carrying loose speed strips in my pocket (besides having them turn every which way in your pocket), was that occasionally one or two rounds would pop off the speed strip and then you had those to contend with as well.

I prefer SafariLand Comp I Speedloaders and the straddle the belt holster for them. But I do have a couple speed strips, too. They fit in my pocket in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster quite well.

O/P It is nice to have different options, good idea. Many holster makers offer 2x2x2 reload holders, most of which work with a speed strip. It may be a little silly but I've always liked matching leather gear, I.e belt, holster, and reload carrier.

I thought thats what those watch pockets on your jeans are for. At least thats where I always carried mine.

Oh, and when you hear that banging in the dryer the next day, thats were you left them. :)

Lost count of the number of times I did that, and even though washed and dried, the rounds always went bang when shot in practice.

Nice. I use the leather one advertised in the Dillon catalog and the nylon one sold by Tuff.

I usually keep a single speed strip in a small Raine pouch in my weak side back pocket.

As a side note- Have you folks had problems with older Tuff strips cracking/breaking?

pocket knife, dog whistle, pen, card case, pen light, handkerchief, lighter, dog bags, pepper spray, car keys... I agree the watch pocket is a good place, but now my zippo's been dumped into the pile in one of my other pockets.

I used to carry my Zippo there as well. Now it rides in the small ruler pocket of my Carhartts on top of a pocket knife. At least this way, I dont burn my leg near as much. :)

You'd think after almost 50 years of carrying one, Id have learned how to fill it by now. :cuss:

LOL - yup I got hollered at a few times.
Divorced her years ago.

Current wife is MUCH more understanding. :)

Like .455_Hunter, I keep a speed strip in my weak side back pocket. That way it's the only thing in there.

This is my homemade speed strip carrier. Works with 5 or 6 rounds loaded in two strips.
