Well, I though maybe the stiff trigger needed breaking in...well ive fired about 350 rounds through my .40 Sigma and still that trigger is recockulous. I fired what my friend called a Star .45 that held 6 rounds (it was a semi auto) and i LOVED it. It had a DA/SA trigger that was so much smoother. I was able to hit the center of the target at 15 yards as opposed to me still having trouble hitting the center at 3 and 7 yards with the Sigma. Man...im so upset with myself for having bought that gun. :(

Don't you have another thread where someone want to trade a Ruger for your Sigma? Not happy, then jump on the trade option!

Any gun that shoots single action will have a trigger than blows away DAO or partially cocked strikers like Glock, Sigma, etc. I couldn't shoot my Glocks worth beans until I put in the 3.5lb trigger connector, but with this in, I'm not sure its safe for carry. As far as I know there are no options to improve the Sigma trigger.

Yeah, you're comparing apples or oranges, somewhat. A SA trigger is going to be superior to a DAO, DA/SA, or modern striker system. The price you pay for this is the manual safety. Some people think that's a good deal (I sure do), others don't.

That said, the Sigma trigger is one of the absolute worst examples of the modern duty gun trigger out there. So, you're actually comparing apples to rotten oranges. ;)

yeah is the Star PD. Im just glad that my aim wasnt as bad as i thought it was :) From now on, ill fire a gun before buying it. You live, you learn right? :)

Sometimes you pick something up that you just plain don't like. These guns will either be sold, or traded off to someone who does like them. Walk around with it at a gunshow, or put it on consignment at a local shop. It will eventually sell and you can do something worthwhile with the cash.
