So I went and fired a few more rounds through my s&w Sigma 9MM.

Details:
95 Degrees out
Outdoor Range at 25 yards

Ammo:
Blazer Brass
Winchester Range and Self Protection
Federal FMJ Hollow Point
Reloads

A total of 500 Rounds....:)

I shot the gun all day and changed the rounds up. All rounds ran flawlessly and the gun worked great even after being dirty from all the rounds. From 25 yards I was pretty happy with my shooting. I started missing low left, then started missing low, then a good batch, then ended with the last few targets all grouped nicely. The trigger is stiff, but nothing what others have said, and now the gun has about 1500 rounds through it total...it feels softer, or I am stronger...:neener:...I noticed fatigue when I was pumping 15 rounds, then 15 rounds, then 15 more rounds right after another...but other than that. Not so much.

Over all? I love this gun, I didnt have a single malfunction, and shot fairly well. So there it is...my crappy range first range report.:D

The trigger is still pretty awful, but S&W seems to have fixed the reliability issues of the early guns. A reliable out of the box gun for ~$300 is nothing to sneeze at these days.

If you learn to shoot the Sigma well, any other gun should be a piece of cake.

I shot the sigma well.....and it has improved my shots with all my other guns. I even improve with the sigma to the point of being very happy....:)

I love this thing

I really like and carry my Sigma 40 to this day. Have never had a FTF or FTE in 3 years. Just as reliable as block and a lot more comfortable in my hands.

The VE versions of the Sigma are great guns. However they never got over their rep for the earlier models. Someone else called it the "sigma Stigma" and it fits. Mine, like yours, has run perfect.
