Went by GM this afternoon and they had 40 lcps' for 350. No ammo.

Probably not. I was in Gander today, and a woman was buying a Bersa. She wanted ammo to go with it, and they had to dig around for a long time before coming up with what they told her was "the last box in the store." At least they didn't send her home with an unusable new gun.

Glad I got one a couple months ago.. I didn't realize they are so difficult to come by. I just kinda bought mine on a whim for $320 from Sportsmans Warehouse in January.

I got mine at Radio Shack for $250 and he even threw in 2 boxes of ammo. Yes.... Radio Shack.

These LCPs are hot right now. Was it like this with P3ATs when they first came out?

I don't remember it being... I think the CCW market is quite a bit stronger now, and the .380 has made a resurgence in "credibility."

Plus Ruger has the benefit of all the fans of the P3AT making the case in the market for a tiny polymer pocket .380 auto.

I still have yet to see one on a dealer shelf here in Vegas. One shop told me they had a couple in but they sold the same day.
