Take the Glock 36, extend the grip to full size so it would hold 8 or 9 rounds, extend the barrel to 5 or 5.3 inches (like the 1911 or Glock 34, respectively). I'd buy one right away.
The gun I want in .45 is a S&W 25-5 with a 4" barrel, the heavy barrel with the half shroud, and beafed up with the heavy duty lockup upgrades they did for the .44s.
In BLUE with the smooth narrow trigger and a wide hammer.
I'd like to see several of the CZs offered in 45ACP. Tanfoglio can do it, CZ should be able to as well. I'd particularly like to see the single action in a 45.
I think the Kahr would benefit from a 45ACP chambering. I've heard a couple folks comment that it is a good design but they only carry 45s.
about the .45cal Beretta 92...
this subject has come up before on the Beretta Forums. it's definately something people would buy. Beretta seems like a very cautious company. maybe the 92 design can handle .40s&w but if they released it in .45acp there's also all that +P and +P+ ammo available for .45 which could ruin their reputation and flare up the old gunny legends of slide separations in the army's new-fangled eye-talyun 9mm.
