I have recently bought an H&R 922 the serial number begins with a "P" i need information on this gun so anything will help

I think P puts it around 1954. I have one that was made just prior to WWII and it is a neat revolver. Generally speaking, they aren't worth much, most selling for less than $100. It's an odd beast. It is double action, but has a loading/unloading port like a single action. What looks like an ejector rod is actually a pin which may be pulled to drop the cylinder out. Mine functions well and is fun to shoot. Just bring a dowel with you to push out the empty cases.
