So I have been in the market for a tiny pocket gun lately. Originally liked the LCP of the most recent offerings, well now I see Taurus has their version the TCP. I am not even sure if these are on the shelves yet and have not seen one but wondering if anybody has seen or handled one of these.

Any review as of yet?

there available at most of my local shops here in michigan.

hard to find items seem easier to find around my neck of the woods for some reason

i handled one. feels about as good as any other taurus. nothing impressive.

i would never buy a taurus anyway, but that's just me.

What is the price on them? A shop up here puts the LCP's on sale for 249. I am pondering the price difference

don't remember the price on the taurus exactly, i think it was around $400-450, but that's a great price on that LCP.

i had bad luck with 2 rugers, both jammed and one was a revolver! (cylinder binding). but for $250, i guess it's worth the risk.

Yeah it is. They sell the LCR for 400 regularly so I am hoping they do a sale with those too. They are always the lowest price I can find for anything Ruger, be it sale or regular price.

LCP

I've got about 700 rounds so far through my Elsie and not problem one. I am disappointed that I can't shoot +P's, so I will probably upgrade to a 9mm (one that is capable of handling a +P or +P+).

If that is true then this gun is going to fail REALLY fast. This gun competes with the LCP and the P3AT those both sell for 225-300 if this gun is 450 then its going to fail hardcore.

The taurus comes I think standard in stainless steel slide and also is available in titanium which makes it even lighter yet. both of these features are something that kt and Ruger do not provide, along with a auto slide lock kand ambi magazine release. It has potential to be a nice gun, but it has to work and it has to be reliable to justify the price of what ever they will be selling for. I know of no one who has one or for that matter have not seen any magazine test reports, which I am sure willbe forth-coming..
