I have an issue with a gun that I have warrantied through Davidsion's. Does anyone have any good experience with them or am I better off just sending it back to the manufacturer with whom I do not have a warranty through?
I have not used their warranty, but I read it very thoroughly when I ordered my Ruger Mark III. It seems to be a very good warranty. Basically you can return it to the dealer you purchased it through, OR, if the dealer is no longer in business, you can deal directly with Davidson's.
Note: Normally you will still have a full manufacturer warranty on top of Davidson's warranty.
in two instances, they didn't have the exact gun in stock and so i got a different one.
you definitely want to send it to davidsons, especially if it's a popular gun. they will send you a new one or give you a credit. they're a very reputable company. (you pay for that reputation on the front end though, for sure)
