Has Glock changed the magazine follower design on the .45s?

I recently got some mags for a G21 from Cheaper Than Dirt - supposedly new, factory production, 13 rounds. The shape of the follower is quite different from the G30 mags I already have (I don't have any old G21 mags to compare them to, since I don't have a G21. They're a buddy's Christmas present). They're hard to describe, so here's a sketch.

Have the 21 followers always been different than the 30, or has Glock changed the design? Are they a "post ban" design, like this thread says about the 9mm?

I don't think I can compare to you rsketch but the number stamped on my old (preban) G21 follower is 3955. Hope that helps.
