Hey folks, I need some help with an important bill that's being considered in CA. As you're aware, CA has some nasty anti gun leanings and because of that messes with a lot of things nationally and sends its bad ideas elsewhere, so it's in your interests to help out in reversing this. There is a bill to correct a lot of this by implementing Shall Issue CCW law in CA, making right to carry accessible for all legally qualified citizens in the state, not just the 20-30% living outside the city areas plus the .001% richest, politically connected, and elected officials (or those who are all 3). Imagine having CA totally turned around--no more Pelosi, Feinstein, et al.! This is the biggest and more important step to getting that done, as well as standing up for the rights of all to have access to the right of self defense.

It's in committee, so I'm simply asking if you can help out by taking maybe 5 to 10 minutes total to call these folks' offices and tell them to vote YES for AB 357 (Interesting name, don't you think?): (And/or mail and fax if you can and have the time)

It's not just CA residents. We need residents of ALL STATES to voice support of this. Everyone needs to help Shall Issue everywhere because every state counts, and everyone here knows that we need CA to change for the better for our nation as a whole to turn back the tide of the anti 2A complex.

Has orange county got rid of Sherriff Hutchins yet. I'm from Indiana but you all are really getting the shaft. I will do whatever I can to help you regain and retain your rights. " We all hang together, or surely we will all hang separately" B. Franklin stay safe

All gun owners should provide some momentum this way!

As soon as she was hired, I saw the bad news coming. All the smug Orange County residents with CCW permits basically told me to shut up and beat it. Now, it's clear Hutchins is no good for Second Amendment rights. Hopefully, all of the Orange County residents, and everybody else, now understand how bogus "may issue" is.

Let's pass "shall issue"!!!

Hutchens is still very much a problem and we're looking at how to get the problem solved. Meanwhile a vacancy is opening up in Ventura county so that needs to be focused on as well. If we can win that one we'll be gaining something big.

There's no reciprocity provision in the bill, so there isn't anything in the bill that helps non-California residents.

CCW is not statewide yet, and reserved for the elite in many counties. Only really common in most of the rural counties which is a minority of the state population.
You won't be able to get a lot of support for reciprocity until CCW is the norm for the state.
Once CA is a shall issue state you can bet that reciprocity won't be far behind.
If everyone is shall issue, then it no longer makes a lot of sense to restrict people from out of the state.
Currently it makes "sense" that if it is impossible to get a CCW in say San Francisco or LA that they are not forced to honor out of state permits.

So help make it a shall issue state and it will be much easier to sell everyone on the idea of honoring permits of those out of state.
