Looks like my $15 FFL tranfer guy is unavailable. I need another FFL that does tranfers without breaking the bank. Also, need a copy ASAP of the license.

I see a few on gunbroker but have never used them.

Suggestions?

I seen them and made a few calls. I think I'm just gonna buy local.

Here's the scenario. I found a G20 (shot 15 times) with night sights and 8 each 15 round mags for $550 shipped. Add $25 for transfer fees ($15 if I can get ahold of my regular guy). Problem is, the seller is moving in a week to a different state and wants me to get everything to him before weeks end. I'm kind of uneasy about the whole deal cause of him moving. He has good feedback from Gunbroker so at least he has some history.

I called a local gunshop (Diamondback Police supply) and can get a new G20 for $475 + $38 tax and it comes with 2 factory high cap mags. Can have the gun by Wed. No night sights though. Reason I get is at that price is the discount they give LE/military. I think I'm gonna stick with the local sale for piece of mind and less hassle. I'll take the extra $60 and buy some extra mags or night sights for it.

What say you?

If it were me, I'd go local, too. Diamondback has a good reputation and the Glock prices are about the best in town. Mags are easy to get and fairly cheap, too.

Check with Slash K for night sights. They used to install them free if you bought from them. The problem with Slash K is the store hours.

Slash K?

I just got back from dropping the funds locally. Cost was $511 out the door for a new G20, standard sights and 3 high cap mags. Will have it tomorrow. :D

You are gunna have to come up to Buckeye and let me see yer new toy.

I have a reasonably new toy too.

A Manurhin PP in .32ACP. I've had it for awhile, but just took it out shooting yeaterday at the Buckeye hills range (remember that place??).

Pretty accurate piece, with grapefruit size groups at 25 yards!! The only flyers were from that first "gazillion pound trigger pull" DA shot!!

When you shipping out for the sand again???

Lennyjoe,

Sounds like a reasonable price.

It's on the south side of Ajo, between Country Club & Palo Verde:

Slash K Guns
3156 E Ajo Wy
Tucson, AZ 85713 - 5224
(520) 747-1521

Now, get back to D-M and get to work.

Dangit, and I was just about to ask you what that guy's name was again... my tax return is starting to look alot like a DPMS 308T...

I got ahold of my FFL. He was on vacation and emailed me yesterday.
