Hi-Vis Bead Sight

I have that sight on my 870 20ga that I use for pig/turkey hunting. Works just fine but I am toying with the idea of mounting a red dot.

I just mounted the front and rear snap on spring steel hi-viz to the rib of my 870. All I can say is I'll never go back to a bead front. Grat stuff.

I use them on most of my shotguns. Most of mine are the magnetic version for a rib, but have a few snap-ons for plain barrels as pictured. I love them. The snap-ons are far less aesthetic but just as effective, and if you change your mind, just take it off.

I used the snap on rear/front sight combo for 12 years on my Mossberg for turkey hunting until I bought a Mossberg turkey gun that came with adjustable fiber optic sights. It worked great as a reminder to keep my head down, which is all you really need on a turkey shotgun. Inexpensive, light and accurate enough for shot.

Turkey shotguns throw tighter patterns than field guns but they are still shotguns; you don't need 1/2 minute of angle accuracy to hit a stationary target less than 50 yards away. As far as I'm concerned scopes and red dots are just unnecessary weight and expense on a turkey gun.
