Over the last month there's been 3 home invasion robberies in the south San Jose area. Their MO has been to sever the power and phone lines and then proceed into the house.
So tonight I see a piece on the news about a town hall meeting between residents and police. Did the police even hint that people might, just might, want to arm themselves against these criminals? Of course not. Leave a TV on and have a cell phone ready to call 911 so you can get a busy signal like the last time I had to use 911. Ugh. And then there's a brief segment of a woman holding a "Neighborhood Watch" sign she says will deter the criminals. Man, I wish I had known about this meeting. I might have driven down to SJ just to crash that silly sheeple gathering.
