How to answer "Where do all these guns come from?"

Let me chime in and agree with those who are saying that a lot of those guns were out there already, and were legally owned until the laws were changed. There are a lot of .38's in a lot of sock drawers all across this country.
 
Do you think that the cities might branch out and "buy back" televisions, car stereos, tires, bicycles, and other such stuff that they've never owned? If so maybe they could franchise the business. That could help solve the crime problem in those cities: the people who break into your home could sell not only your guns but also the rest of its contents to the city's franchisees--no questions asked, no arrests guaranteed.
