The sheriffs office called this morning and the OSBI sent my concealed handgun license to them today. I am going to pick it up before I go to work. I am pretty excited about this and am glad that I finally have gotten the legal right to defend myself. Also a little nervous although I imagine that will go away in time.

Yep... You will get used to it. It's kinda spooky at first and I think my wife got REALLY tried of my asking, "Am I printing? Am I printing?" I think I got used to it just so I would not get that "look" from my wife when I asked.

It's been just about a month now and I can't imagine not having it. Get a couple of comfortable methods of carry and a good safe for the car for where you can't carry and it becomes routine quick.

Congrats!

spooney, welcome to the club!

Now that you can "carry legally" (a bit of a mis-nomer--I hope we don't have to start paying to exercise our 1st amendment rights, too), may you never actually need to use it for protection.

It's always good when the law-abiders are armed.

Regards,
fiVe
