I was down to the clothes on my back once but several of my firearms were left with trusted relatives before it got real bad and I was able to get them back when things improved. You gotta do what you have to do to survive and from first hand experience they don't let you keep firearms when sick and in the hospital while owning nothing else! You can always get more stuff but you gotta survive first.:scrutiny: Good luck

thanks everyone for your reply's and your opinion's . they have helped alot, also thanks for the prayers that may have went up. it makes me feel better just to know you guys took the time and effort to reply to my posts, and i thank you alot. oh by the way i live in s.e. georgia.

Point made was correct. If things are really bad, a few hundred one way or the other is not likelly to help for more than a week. I feel really bad that this is happening to more and more good folks every time I speak to someone. Hang in there and sometimes when things look their wose a change comes along for the better. Keep the faith brother.

So sorry too learn of your situation waymor55; as I too will pray for your
good health and prosperity too return soon~! ;)

A recent thread about some of us THR members being millionaires, got me
thinking. I'm certainly not destitute; but I'm far from wealthy. I suffered
a broken neck (car accident, 16 March '98), and have not been able too
work a regular (40 hour) full time job myself. Luckily, I found a reall good
part time job, that allows me to feed my family/pay a few bills/ and enjoy
some toys~! :) But, I am far from a millionaire-

Good Luck In The New Year My Friend~~!

PS: If you need a little helping hand, just holler for us THR members; as
I'm quite sure we won't let you or your family go hungry. This is a very
fine bunch of member's, and we help each other.

I'm in Eatonton. If the 709 is a Slim, I might be interested in buying it for my wife. PM me with details and price.

Do you have a life insurance policy? If you do you can borrow on it, and at a much cheaper interest than other sources.

no. nothing other than my wifes ssi and that does not pay all the bills. but with prayers i am sure god will work it out somehow . reading all the post has encouraged me and helped me to think i will try to hold on. i am 58 and could not even get a job at krogers, but thanks to everyone.

Waymore, I pray for you and you financial situation to immediately improve.
God bless in the New Year. One gun and some money is better than an empty belly and no lights. Been there, hope better.

Been there man, and no matter what you do what ya gotta do for the wife and kids. I once sold em all and when i was back up, replaced and then some. Things are just things...I would keep that last one though being unarmed is no service to your family
