with you. I put in for vacation from the firehouse and I took three firearms with me to the range back in March. I took my 452 FS with a J&P 3/32 ghost ring, my 527 223 varmint laminate and my 82 Mak. It was a beautiful day and I got there early to set up. A long with my rifles, I also had my new Hawke Optics spotting scope.
With the FS, I have been learning to shoot with the iron sights setup and I will be using the CZ match set sights, that I got from Denny in the near future. My 527 has been pillar bedded and was anxious to see how it would shoot. I also wanted to shoot my 82.
I have included pictures from that day. I think I am doing OK with shooting off bag rests for both rifles and I definitely need to improve my bench technique. I was having fun sighting in the FS with the ghost ring and had some acceptable groups at 25 and 50 yards. As of this writing, I have replaced the ghost ring on the FS with the CZ match set and sighted it in with a laser bore sighter.
On the 527, I recently had it the rifle pillar bedded and was very anxious to see how the rifle would shoot. I shot pretty good at 50 yards and I definitely need to work on my bench technique for 100 yards.
I did not get a chance to shoot the 82 but I can shoot it another day.
I shot some left over 22 ammo during sight in and then swtiched to CCI Blazer all 40 grain in bullet weight in the FS. I shot PMC 55 grain 223 than some WPA 62 grain in the 527.
Pictures of the day follow:

Another fun day at the range for a CZ Addict.

nice rifles, i also have a couple of czs. eventually those groups will shrink even more...trust me, i miss my 527 varmint kevlar:( did you use the single set trigger when shootin your 527?

That is a nice looking cz full stock. I have always wanted one but never did get to get one. Just some advise on photos of the targets, and I mean no disrespect because I also am guilty of it. Put a ruler or something we can all identify (cartridge) with or on the target, so we have an idea as to the size of the target.

Looks like a good time. I plan on picking up a CZ, my self. Either a 452 like you have or a 513. It seems the 452s are harder to come by these days and the 513 is pretty similar, but more stripped down.

I wonder how those wooden stocks handle temperature and humidity swings. I live in the northeast with all 4 seasons. I know they use a decent hardwood, but I suppose they could swell and move with the season changes (and hinder consistent accuracy).
