If you were me and had $500...?

But now that I think about it what you really need is to buy a couple boxes of cigars!
Yes with your collection I'd strap on every gun I own and sit down with a cigar clenched between my teeth and a big grin
Seriously though a 10/22 would be a nice addition. You can pick up a stainless/synthetic one for $200 or less if you shop around (or if that store price matches) and shoot all weekend for $10. If you get bored, change it up, start doing moving drills with shoot/no shoot targets, transition to a pistol when the rifle is dry, etc.

i"d go weird here and get two. Norinco makes a origional looking version of the colt 45, circa 1905, chambered in 762.25 tokarev. then get the FEG copy of the browning hi power, you should be able to get both for 500.

Looking at the thread title again got a BareNakedLadies song stuck in my head. "If I had $1,000,000"

"If I had a million dollars, we wouldn't have to eat Kraft dinner...but we would!":D

"I'd buy you a green dress...but not a real green dress, that's cruel.":neener:

So, what are you gonna get already!!!:p

Thanks to everyone for some great suggestions. I wish I could afford almost everyone of the things people suggested.

To the people that suggested a shotgun...I have one coming this x-mas.

To the people that suggested a .22 of some sort...not a chance (if I get attacked and eaten by rabbits I may be sorry I did not heed your advice though). :)

To the people that suggested the CZ 75 in stainless...You really have my interest peeked. I will be looking into one of those after we sell our next property.

To the people that suggested the Kahr...I kind of took your advice.

I have been really getting into mouse guns lately (since I have a ton of .357 and up guns) and I love my Kahr MK40 so I thought I would see if they made anything smaller. Maybe a .32acp or .380 caliber pistol. At first it appeared they do not, but then I found out that they do make a .380 but it is for NAA. It is the NAA .380 Guardian. The Kahr company designed and built this gun for NAA and it even says "Kahr Arms" on the frame.

Best part is, this firearm was only $389 so I still had enough to make a down payment on a new Taurus 85 .38+P Ultra-Lite revolver to replace the .32 H&R MAG one I am turning over to my partner to be his gun for his car. I told him if he would get his carry permit I would give it to him. It is brand new and he liked it when I took him to the range. he is a small guy so it is perfect for him.

Once again, thanks for all the input. :)

If this happens I want to see the video.:neener: Have fun with the NAA .380 and give us a report.

Yes if you get attacked by rabbits we'll have to put up a "This thread is worthless without pics" sign! .22 rifles aren't defense guns or SHTF tools, they are for training and cheap plinking, making cans dance. Nothing in the many years of shooting my deer guns from the bench at paper made me as good a hunter as just walking around plinking offhand with the 10/22 and AR.

We expect a range report on the .380 soon! I've been thinking about getting a Kahr PM9 but it's hard to justify the cash outlay when I have a XD9SC and G26 filling that role perfectly well.

If I were you and had discretionary money to spend, I'd spend a bit of it to upgrade OS X version to 10.4.8. :D

I actually did consider upgrading my computer last week but the new iMac computers are just not different enough from the one I have now. I am hoping they will come out with something new and cool soon.

Dr. Rob-
Tell me more about the Witness 10mm? I don't know much about that brand, but I'm looking at a 10mm in either revolver (610) or maybe a semi-auto. I really enjoy my Kimber Stainless II in .45 ACP, so thinking about adding to the 1911 stock with something like the Eclipse that was nicely presented by Oregongundude.

Speaking of Oregongundude, very nice 610 you have there. That's the exact model I'm after for the revolver side of my 10mm dreams. Love that 6.5" bbl. I put in a bid on one over on GunBroker last week, but was outbid. :( Will keep searching for another since I see something in my future as a reward for hard work at my job over the past 18 months.
