Sharing with us is fine. What you need to do is tell the Democratic Party that you are pro-gun rights and if they expect you to continue to support them that they had dern well offer candidates that unreservedly support your right, exclusive of and pre-existing the Second Amendment, to keep and bear arms. I know Democrats who espouse undying support for the Second Amendment, yet at election time they line up and vote for whomever the union tells them needs to be elected or for the guy who supports whatever social cause they think is attractive even though that guy might hate guns and gun owners, is adamantly opposed to CCW, CCW on campus, hunting, etc. That's the sort of behavior that has emboldened the national leadership of the Democratic Party. It has to stop, partner, or your own party will sell you and your rights down the river.
For the record, I was a registered Democrat with a "gun rights" espousing Democratic Congressman who helped shepherd the AWB through Congress. I changed parties, and that SOB didn't get re-elected after most of his adult life was spent representing his district.
