I'm gonna talk about Zombies (intelligently?)

I don't understand the issue. So somebody shoots zombie targets and somehow that is a commentary on the devolution of society??

True riflemen" like you have described wouldn't waste their meticulously loaded-by-the-kernel ammo at a recreational event. Nor their time, which is apparently better spent feeding their family and hunting $85.00 coyotes.

What, Coyote pelts are up to eighty five dollars now? Looks like I'll get back into that this winter.

I am more a lurker then a poster.

But as a nerd I didn't realize they had "zombie" type shooting in the world. Aside from Ren Faire where I can chow down and get drunk this concept sounds more fun then watching my friends Live Action Roleplay with foam sword and stuff.

Blowing through a bulk pack of 22lr and a box or three of 20 gauge sounds more fun then watching my friends beat each other with swords no offense to my friends and their fellow LARPERS.

Yes, if you live in Fudd World.

Ya, I really don't get it either.

2,000 years ago we killed humans for sport (gladiators)
200 years ago we killed animals for sport (hunters)
Now we blow up inanimate objects.

If you ask me we are getting better with time. Our sports are becoming far less violent. The old timers need to wake up and smell the coffee.... which has been replaced with Red Bull.

Shooting at moving targets while moving yourself is good training, is it not? I'm not sure what is painted on the target matters at the end of the day.

I nominate that for post of the day.

It could be worse. Our youngsters could be getting drafted and learning to shoot while getting shot at.

Let them shoot zombies, or pink fluffy bunnies if that's what gets them off the electronic toys and to the range. Better than letting the sword go completely dull, right?
