Insufficient Ballistic Level Protection

Saw this at the "Musee de l'Armee" in Paris. The descriptive text was French, but it looked like this was being worn by one of Napoleon's generals at Waterloo.

Must have hurt like heck, but not for long...


Lesson #1: If you use enough gun there is no need for two to the body.

Lesson #2: Incoming cannon balls ALWAYS have the right of way.
