Very good ammo...fragments nicely on impact, like a 142gr version of the M193. Accuracy is descent from what I've encountered.

DM is Deutsche Waffen-u. Munitionsfabriken A.-G., Früher Lorenz, Karlsruhe, Germany. NATO spec, lead cored, steel jacket, ball ammo.
"...weichern..." Indicates the core.
"...the bullet is silver..." Just the jacket steel.

The German 7.62x51 that I purchased recently is DAG, but it also has a cupro-nickel jacket. I haven't seen a single spot of corrosion on any of the cartridges I've seen so far, but I understand that it isn't uncommon with certain lots of German surplus.

In my experience this type of ammo is clean and accurate.
