I got a call today from the Illinois Republican Party hitting me up for donations. The party of soon-to-be-Nobel-Prize-winning Honest George Ryan; the party of "no CCW on my watch" Smilin' Jim Edgar; the party that couldn't come up with a viable candidate within the state to oppose Democrat Rock Star Barack Obama; the party where the only elected RINO state official attends 'D' fundraisers...Judy Baar Topinka.

"Did you know that Senator Hillary Clinton has already lined up more than $30 million? We need contributions - can I count on you for $250?"

me- "RINOs + anti RKBA + statewide scandals = NO"

"Do you want her as the next President?"

me- "no leadership + self-destructive "moderates" + "progressive wing" = NO"

"Clinton, Democrats, evil, Clinton, WoT, Democrats, WoD, Clinton - do you want that?

me- "unemployed/laid off AGAIN, twice since Bush the 43rd took office, once since the Elephants gained the majority = NO"

"but but but HILLARY!!!!!"

me- "I have like $2.28 in my checking account" <--not true but getting :cuss:

"OK, I can send you some literature - can we count on you for $100?"

me- "yeah, whatever, send it, NO you can't count on any amount"

I'm waiting for their mailer so I can WRITE exactly why I won't be contributing one penny until the Illinois Republican Party gets their house in order; why I'll be voting for non-RINOs in the primaries and for the BEST candidate in the general election, regardless of party; why I hope that their handpicked moderate-to-leftist RINOs lose every election statewide AGAIN, only by bigger margins. Somehow I don't think it'll matter to JBT (ha ha ha) and the IRP leadership. I suppose they'll miss the money but ignore WHY they're not getting any.

Direct contributions to my actual Republican politicians, I can come up with a few bucks.
 
I view her as the control freak, Marxist mom from hell. Then, one day she is driving to spy on her political enemies or perhaps it was her husbands lover of the day and "BOOM" she is in a traffic accident with a truck hauling nuclear waste. She begins glowing, grows to 30 ft tall and gains superhuman strength. She decides to destroy anyone who does not worship her as a god-human.The next step is to control the camera angles to conceal her size and then to take over health care. The IRS and FBI are given control of the after-birth-abortion decisions for public safety and general public welfare as required under the interstate commerce clause...........All hell quits breaking loose when she is the only one left.
 
I still say Hillary should divorce Bill and marry Chuck Schumer. That way, she would be in fact, as well as by reputation, the Bride of Chucky!

To be honest I am not sure which of these is the more shameful family secret. I voted for Bush in the last election, or my brother voting for Hillary Clinton. All I know is that every time I see a politician or a corporate executive I get a sharp stabbing pain in my temple. I can't remember the name of the Enron jerk but he stole 16 million or so and then rolled over on his buddies for immunity and he may never spend a day in jail. It was in the NY Times a few days ago. :banghead: :fire: :cuss:

I'm not drinking the 'most important election of our lifetime' koolaid again. If the Republicans want my vote they'll have to earn it. Besides, I'm in California, whose electoral votes will go to the Democrat, so I'm entirely free to 'vote my conscience' as it were.
 
I'll do anything and everything (legally) possible to make sure John McCain doesn't get the AZ primary nomination.

Damn RINO.

I have no idea who to vote for. Condi is set up as a state department diplomat and will kiss @$$ with Mexico if she is president. McCain is a liberal. I don't trust Jeb, after Bush1 and his AWB and Bush2 with his Patriot Act and lack of desire to fix the border. Bush3 may surrender to Cuba.
 
Until one side, the other, or a third party comes up with someone I can vote FOR, I am out of the voting pool. No more "hold your nose and vote" for me.

May I suggest that you vote for yourself instead of withdrawing altogether? at least you'll stay on the rolls that way...
 
I really, honestly think, that if john mccain runs for republicans and hillary for Democrats were screwed anyways.

Hillary might be awful for guns, but nation-wide, were screwed either way.

Maybe it would be best to have a republican congressional and senatorial majority, but to have hillary as president.

About the only candidate i might consider voting for is Condilizza Rice. But it looks very unlikely she will run.

So i will just vote 3rd party, and hope america wisens up some day...

Thanks the powers above that we have 3 more years to get things steady there...i hope 3 years will be enough.

I have reached a point where I am not sure I care who is the next president, but we still have a few crazy years yet to weather.;)

I hearby nominate Art Eatman for the position of Dictator, in the classical Greek sense, for a one year non repeatable term.

Now THAT would be entertainment...:evil:
