Anybody know where to find one of the popular forends with integral light mount, like the ones for the Remington 870, only made for an Ithaca 37?
I've got an old 37 featherweight that makes a fine house gun, but I do want a light and it would be handy to leave one on the gun.

Surefire used to make them. In fact I have one. I don't know if they do any more or not. You used to see ithaca's in alot of police cars but since they have all but disapeared from law enforcement maybe they don't make them anymore. For what it is worth I bought mine for about 150 bucks in 97.

Will do, but it doesn't look promising. I haven't found anyone making one. Maybe some cop still has one in the back of his safe after switching to an 870 or something. Personally, I really like my 37. I wouldn't sneeze at the 870 or the 1100, but I'm not in a hurry to switch. Just thought I'd put the question before the biggest, best group of gun nuts I know. If no one here knows of one, I'll probably just assume they aren't made anymore. :(

I've seen the forends with the light mount on ebay, auctionarms, and gunbroker at different times. The search function for AA and Gunbroker pretty much suck so just type "ithaca." On ebay you can go to "sporting goods" and narrow your search by clicking both the "search in sporting goods only" and "search in items and descriptions" boxes.

Don't forget to do a search for "ithica" as well as it's a commonly misspelled item. Hell, I found one of my 870 extensions by typing "extention" in the search...

Yeah, dad has several misspellings of gun names in his favorite searches (He collects 2mm pinfire miniatures, most of which have Belgian and French names I can't begin to remember how to spell.)

Thanks for the tip! At least I know they're out there.

The SureFire Forend WeaponLight (6V) for the Ithaca 37 is the 624.
The housing is the H24FA.

According to one SureFire Dealer's site I check it was in stock.

If you try a Google search of "Ithaca 37 SureFire" you should find a number of sites of interest.

Thank you.

It may be you need to call SureFire to find out whether they have any of the weaponlights or the housing in stock. They may also be able to suggest some dealers who may have stock.
