I just installed one of these on my new P-11 I bought a couple months ago. I got the aluminum grooved one. This immediately remedied the "finger pimching" I had experienced. An example: While trying to get used to the trigger pull, I would sit in front of the TV at night and pull the trigger (I'm left handed) far enough back to not release the hammer then let the trigger back to normal position and in doing this it would catch my skin between the trigger and the opening in the frame the trigger extends down from. I didn't dry fire it as it is not recommended without a safety cap which I didn't have. In real life this probably doesn't amount to much, but the trigger shoe not only cured that problem but makes the perceived weight of trigger pull somewhat less. It also takes out slack in the trugger. I'm very happy with the pistol now and can't wait to get back to the range.

Yeah, my trigger shoe made my P11 feel like a totally different pistol. I really like it.

However, I hope yours stays on. I ended up epoxying mine in place since the set screws just didn't hold it. I also opened up the area in the housing above the trigger so that you can still disassemble the pistol without taking off the shoe.

I hope it stays on too. I went by Kel-Tec's direction which is to put the shoe in place and tighten the screws. I had gotten some good advice on this in this forum a few weeks ago which said you should marki the holes where the screws are, then use a very fine twist drill and drill shallow holes in the trigger, This lets the Allen screws "penetrate" the trigger a little bit, and then use the Blue LocTite. I'll wait and see how Kel-Tec's instructions go. I can always go the other route.

I used to have a P-11 with a trigger shoe. It did help make the pistol a lot more comfortable to shoot. I never had a problem with the shoe coming off, but I tightened the screws really tight so they made clear indentations on the trigger.

I like my trigger shoe and you're right; it's feels like an entirely different gun. Kel-tec should just widen the trigger on all their P11's and probably their PF9, too. It just lightens the trigger pull so much, or at least feels like it. I can fire a lot more at one time. I don't remember the shaking finger syndrome I used to have.
