I just installed one of these on my new P-11 I bought a couple months ago. I got the aluminum grooved one. This immediately remedied the "finger pimching" I had experienced. An example: While trying to get used to the trigger pull, I would sit in front of the TV at night and pull the trigger (I'm left handed) far enough back to not release the hammer then let the trigger back to normal position and in doing this it would catch my skin between the trigger and the opening in the frame the trigger extends down from. I didn't dry fire it as it is not recommended without a safety cap which I didn't have. In real life this probably doesn't amount to much, but the trigger shoe not only cured that problem but makes the perceived weight of trigger pull somewhat less. It also takes out slack in the trugger. I'm very happy with the pistol now and can't wait to get back to the range.
