It's that way on purpose. Sort of self-deprecating humor while attempting to tie their marketing together.

I live just down the road from Kiesler's.

Firepower TV is their TV show on the local cable access channel. It's a combination infomercial and shooting show. They take guns from some of their inventory, the family's personal collection, local museums and show them, shoot them, give you a little background history on them.

Basically, a couple of guys from the company get to spend the day at the range getting paid to shoot guns and blow stuff up.:p Not a bad gig if you can get it.

Garrett:

I used to live on Blackiston Heights in Clarksville, Ind, back when Kiesler's was down by the mall. (Hwy 131?)

I bought a ton of guns from them. Retail.

I remember once I took a Browning B-78 in to see about a trade. A salesguy (who will remain unnamed) set it down. I began talking to the retail manager about the trade.

The other salesguy went off to wait on somebody else. He opens the cash register and my Browning goes sailing across the room. He picks it up and says, "It's o.k. It's o.k."

I said, "Look at the forearm." (It was gouged.) The salesguy said (expletive deleted).

The manager didn't even look up and said, "What do you want?"

I picked out a new Ruger Redhawk with Leupold 2X scope. It's what I had hoped to trade on in the first place. Killed my first deer with it back when you could only hunt in Indiana with shotgun or handgun. No rifles for big game.

They were good people.

I am good friends with Wes Kiesler who is the owners son, most of the guys who work there and the Guy who does all the Web and marketing stuff. I can tell you that they are all good people who care about your rights as much as they love to shoot. And frankly the new girl they hired is a babe. :D

I have been going there for a long time and have never found another store that comes close to them.

FirepowerTV is a great show that is a lot of fun to watch. It is also a good money maker I am sure. I can tell you that they love doing the show and have a real blast with it. Wes can't hit the broad side of a barn with anything except a shotgun though. I will never figure it out. He can shoot skeet all day long but give the boy a rifle and he is all over the place.

the site used to be able to display a page with all the ARMS mounts in one list

now i have a hard time even finding an ARMS product

that spiffy lapdog website don't hunt

Hmmm, I guess it's time to stop by and check out the umm.... gear. :D

Pinned, yeah they have had some real jewels in there over the years. Overall, the core group has been there for years and are great to deal with.
