I just wanted to post a fantastic deal that just came out. I would have posted it earlier but I wanted to secure some of the goodies.

Midway Reloading is having a HUGE sale on blemished bullets in a variety of calibers. Some of the bullets are cheaper then copper plated bullets. They have a limited supply so act quick!

Nice to see a sale like this! Bullet companies trying to make good?????

Post your deal if you take advantage. :)

heh, i bought 60 boxes of 451 hollow point earlier this AM. shipping on 207 lbs is teh suq.

i mentioned the deal in the glock vs 1911 thread

i just checked their site... of the nearly 200 boxes they had of .451, not a single one are left. 20,000 bullets in 2 hrs is not a bad sale! plenty of others still left though

"I cleaned up as well. Funny, just last week I told my wife THAT was my last gun related purchase for awhile. HEY!!! How did I know"

hahahahaha, me toooooooo! that must be a common response to the wives of reloaders!

yeah, just go to midwayusa.com and search for "blemished"

my wife was also freaking out.

Hmph...I had issues a few times with errors. Seems the bullets are going so fast that one of them went out of stock while I was placing the order and caused the error. I phoned in and confirmed the order, so it's all good. Get them quick, Folks!!!!

I've never ordered Blemished bullets what sort of quality are we talking about here? I ordered some already just wondering what i'm going to be getting :)

Yup, I bought enough 9mm 147 FMJBT to last me all next IDPA season. $5.16 a hundred, about half list price.

These are Hornady bullets; although they don't say so, the designs are distinctive.

I've bought them before, there used to be another outfit that got most of the blems but it looks like Midway is walmarting a lot of the smaller distributors. The blemishes are usually stains that look like water spots. Just occasionally there will be a little irregularity in the jacket turnover at the base, and I have seen a very few missing closure disks in the "encapsulated" bullets. Nothing to affect accuracy at IDPA ranges.

yep, Jim. last bunch of hornady blemishes i bought were on the closeouts page of lock stock and barrel.

You guys are evil! I have made several $200+ orders to Midway recently...this thread made it a third.

It's more a sickness than a hobby! ;)

thanks for the heads up! I just secured 2000 bullets which, for me at least, will last me a full 6 months! now we just need to find some 'blemished' gunpowder and I'll be set.

oh yeah, and it just figures that my $15 off $250 orders expired 3 days ago....

Thanks for the heads up, the 300 and 350 grainer .458's for the 45-70 are a heckuva deal!

Gives me a great excuse to try H4198 w/ the 300g bullets.

Yes I got 4 boxes of those 45 458 300 gr JHP. I have never shot jacketed bullets out of either of my 1895's but I thought I might give them a try.
