Thanks, but I picked some Magtech up at Palmetto Firearms on Broad River Rd. yesterday for a better price. Nice people and very willing to help with any questions.

Update

OK -- Went to range and shot the factory ammo.

Magtech - 50 rounds with nary a hiccup :D

Remington WB - 50 rounds and had one failure to feed and two slide not back on last round. In fairness to the gun I think the one FTF may have been my bad -- let the grip slip a little. The two slide lock issues I'm not sure about.

The Magtech seems to run well for practice. I'm gonna pick up 100 rds more of the Magtech and run it through to see the results.

It's obvious to me now that the reman ammo just won't feed properly through this gun.

One more box of Buffalo Bore SD ammo and I'm getting close to calling the P380 my EDC.

Thanks for all the advice.

The pocket 380s are not as reliable as the full sized guns?

Not counting the Cobray or Scorpion, the biggest 380 was the Beretta Model 86 which isn't made anymore.

Aren't they all small guns now?

Are non-pocket 380s really that much bigger than the pocket ones?

I wouldn't blame Freedom. Their ammo is always top notch.
It's the finicky break in of the gun.

It's a sub par gun I wouldn't even consider trusting with life/limb.

I don't believe in making excuses for unreliably tools/machines.

See it for what it is and call it as such.

I wouldn't consider 1 failure in 50 rounds to be relatively problem free. That's pretty bad. Just sayin'

Reloads are generally less reliable than factory new.

And Kahr's (is that what it is?) don't seem to have the best reliability reputation from what I have read.

Wow, only 1 out of 3 you have right....
I own a Kahr, not read about one, and it runs 100% with my reloads.

1 in 50, I agree with on failures being not good.

Reloads are not allowed in most classes because of the possible moron making them. Reloads I put together, are better then factory;)

Not blaming Freedom. Freedom wouldn't stay in business producing junk ammo. This ammo may run well in another 380 just not the Kahr.

I have shot over 500 rounds of reman from Georgia Arms through my G26 with no problems.

Sounds like the Freedom Munitions ammo is too weak for the recoil spring in your pistol (re-manufactured ammo is generally downloaded due to the reused brass). Since your Kahr pistol is new, the recoil spring is at peak strength and will have problems cycling some low-power ammunition. As your recoil spring weakens, the strength of your recoil spring may fall to the point where this ammo will work for you. If you want to shoot the re-manufactured ammo, you'll probably have to get a weaker recoil spring and switch it out when shooting it. Just be sure to replace the weaker recoil spring with the original full-strength one when shooting anything else. There's nothing wrong with the ammo or the pistol, the problem is that the pistol isn't tuned to fire this particular type loading of ammo.
