OK, I've held off long enough. Here's one of mine

Not a true snubbie by most some's definition but, it's short enough for me. :D

I fail to see the humour in someone who practices with what they own.

Thanks. Shooting friends give me a hard time -- first because it's a wheelgun, second because it's a Rossi. But it hasn't let me down yet and I practice lots, so I am fairly comfortable with it.

1913 Colt Police Positive

Someone decided they needed home-made snub nose . 1913 Colt Police Positive in 32 S&W, original barrel cut down to two inches.

Because all their floors look the same.

You know, I literally flipped a coin to decide whether to move to LA or WA about seven years ago (those were the only two candidates). So I might also take umbrage at that comment. But it's dang funny...

Gosh, I'm so proud of myself for starting this thread. I might fall over backwards patting myself on the back. So many pretty, pretty guns and nice folks...

I'll pat ya on the back for you. Nice thread.

And that floor thing is funny, right there!

I don't know about you fellows who take pictures of your guns on silky cloth, little light boxes or on carpets and rugs. I don't know about the guys who take pictures of guns with knives and watches.

I take pictures of my guns at the range. Maybe we go to the same range.

Bayou Boy, that's a right purty Police Positive. First one I've seen similar to mine! Must be a Louisiana thing......

It's the bath towels and bed sheets that get me.

Actually a few years back on one of the long pic threads on some forum a fella posted a pic that stuck in my mind. I don't recall the gun but in the pic was a gun, a 12oz. bottle of Budweiser, a box of Ritz crackers, an obviously used and large pair of female underpants and a tube of KY jelly. I don't know what he was trying to say and I didn't want to know. But it has stuck in my mind, unfortunately. Since then I criticize no pics but blurry ones.

Hate to see this thread die off...

And since I've only posted Rossis, may as well add a Smith...

"The British Bull Dog", "No. 2", P. Webley & Sons, 5 Shot, chambering the plenty-healthy-enough .450 Adams CF C'tg.

All in all is about the size of an S & W Model 36, but the Grip is shorter.

Colt 'New Service', 1918, chambering the .45 ACP, .45 Auto-Rim, and also .45 Long Colt C'tgs. ( Pending a re-blue after Silver Soldering on a front sight in 1991 or so...I changed the grip, made the Stocks out of some old Bone ones, checkered the Back Strap, Bobbed the Hammer, tidied up the Barrel end, draw filed out rust pits, polished and blued it...then later did a front sight, de-blueing the Barrel and Frame to do so. Gun had a sawed off Barrel when I got it...)
