Which "old world rifle" would you choose for 1000 yards shooting and why?

It will take six months to get one, but a replica Stevens 44 1/2 from CPA Rifles would be my choice. The barrels can be switched easily, as can the breechblocks, so you could have a .22 lr, a 32/40 and a 45/90 on the same frame.
 
That Stevens is a nice rifle but if I remember correctly it's a Schuetzen style rifle. I'm really not looking for a rifle like that one.
