Finally finished making my holster tonight. I started at around 8 and finished at 12. It took an extra hour or so because I had to re-heat the kydex one time and then it was a PITA to line up the holes and actually get them screwed in. Enough jabbering here it is!

Tell me how you think I did!

^^thanks!

It fought me a little when it came to getting the holes all right in the kydex for the screws but that was it. Best part is that I can make as many shells as I want for all the handguns I have.

Its a mid-size Jericho 941. Shorter barrel but full length handle.

nah, its a .45 acp. I don't think on my budget I could afford to shop around for .41AE haha

Well its still Uber cool. It just would have been crazy weird if it was a 41AE

^ it is. I had to make my own shell though. Felt good to complete my first DIY for my gun. I tried to make a set of grips earlier this summer and they kicked my butt.

Congratulations on your finished product! Looks like you did a great job. How well do you like the MTAC holster? I have one ordered that should hopefully be here within a week or so.

Thanks! I really like how it came out.

Ryan: This is my first holster so my opinion is somewhat limited but I like it well enough. It feels sturdy and I like the adjustable clips. Honestly though, the best part is the interchangeable shells. I honestly don't need to ever buy another holster unless I want one that goes on my leg or something. As long as I have kydex and an oven I can make shells for any gun I have.

It looks great. I've been slowly gathering supplies and courage to try and make one myself. Where did you get your belt hooks? Nice job.

the belt hooks came with the M-tac holster I bought. I also bought a set of extra screws and grommets. One thing you might want to ask them for is a set (x2) of T-nuts so that you can secure the top side of the holster to the leather (the side that is parallel with the top of the slide, hard to explain)

hard work is good for the soul

you did a heck of a job on that holster and its always fun to do it yourself too

i made buttstock shell holders for my shotguns with some scrap leather it kicked my butt for a few hours but when it was done i felt like i was the first guy to make fire or something

way to go man keep up the good work
