Thanks for posting the link on Lucy Chambliss... I wonder if she is still alive today...
I used to shoot with her at the old Winter Haven police dept range. The pictures brought to mind the fact she favored sleeveless shirts that were fairly low in the neck line (for the day.)
At that time I shot a High Standard Supermatic Trophy with a 7.5" fluted barrrel... it had a nasty habit of tossing the brass to my right and chest level at the next shooter on the line...
At a match one day Lucy was shooting next to me...and a hot case went down her shirt... which may have upset here aim.
Happily I can report she was the perfect lady... very polite in suggesting I get the ejector "tweaked."
Hope she is doing well...

You may enjoy this old article about Lucy Chambliss, a great female shooter of yesteryear:
In the Chambliss pistol kit you will find a Colt Match Target Woodsman .22 automatic with one of the few Berdon smoothbore barrels in existence. This barrel is a smoothbore from the chamber to the recoil reducing vents and is rifled from there to the muzzle...
