M1 Carbine sights on Mini 14?

I've been told by a few reliable sources that you can put a the rear sight on an M1 Carbine on a Ranch Mini 14.

Can anyone tell me where I can get iron sights for the Carbine?

I won't tell you that because I am not sure, but check www.gunpartscorp.com for carbine sights. Their catalog lists both the stamped and the milled type.

The carbine rear sight set-up I was thinkin' I had was for an 03-A3
Springfield. If I'd had one, it was yours.

New guy on here but yes you can, have to do a bit of filing but its not bad. I just put one on my mini 14 ranch, much better !! I just did a search and found a few sites, selling MI carbine rear sights, got mine from Nick Dailey. Check out the Perfect Union BBS, Lots of Mini 14 knowledge there, they helped me with mine, Great bunch of folks !!!. A company Called ASI sells one that is ready to go, but its a bit pricey in my opinion, like 60.00. I gave 35 for mine including shipping and did the file work myself. Mine was a milled sight a opposed to the stamped sight. If I can help you any please let me know.
