Greetings,
Too many choices....I am in the stage of choice paralysis and need your help guys. I am sure with your input, I will unfreeze.
I have quite a few m1 Garands. I want to scope one with the S&K scope mount. I am not looking to have a historic reproduction. Just a scope on one of my Garand to have some fun.
I have many scopes on many guns: Acog, Nikon, Fullfield II, TRS-1, Sightron, ect...
I am looking in the variable range 3x to 9x-12x range.
I saw the Redfields and the price looks very good. I am very very tempted. Should I go with Redfield or go with a Nikon Buckmaster, Fullfield II or something else that went under the radar?
There are 2 important things I think:
1 - It must be resistant to the recoil and keep the zero. With my Garand, it is not rare I have a 100-120 rounds session.
2 - I read if the windage turret is too nig, it gets in the way of ejection or worse, the way of feeding the gun with the clip. So no "tacticool" turret for the scope.
Thank you
