Maveric 88 Questions

So I have a maveric 88 the the barrel long enough to doubble as a javalin.
I have been lookin to down size to the 18 1/2" barrel and although I know it would be easy to just go with the 18 1/2" maveric barrel, I reallt like the 590 with its finish and thicker barrel.
So my question is, with the 18 1/2" 590 barrel fit my Maveric 88? And if so will I have to change out the magazene tube as well?

Mag tube and spring and new mag tube cap. Takes all of five mins to change.
